What does this intervention involve?
Background
Recurrent post-operative seroma/lymphocele despite repeated aspiration.
Procedure
Collection drained then sclerosant (doxycycline, povidone-iodine, ethanol) injected. Duration: 20-30 minutes.
Risks
Pain, infection, recurrence.
Recovery
Multiple sessions sometimes needed.
Practical information
General anesthesia. Outpatient procedure (return home the same day).
