Background
Hepatic artery stenosis is a common post-transplant complication threatening graft survival.
Procedure
Balloon dilation ± stenting via femoral approach. Duration: 1-2 hours.
Risks
Dissection, arterial thrombosis (may cause graft loss), rupture.
Recovery
1-2 nights. Regular Doppler monitoring.
Practical information
Local anesthesia. Hospital stay: 1 to 2 nights.
