What does this intervention involve?
Background
Indeterminate splenic lesion, lymphoma/metastasis suspicion.
Procedure
US/CT-guided needle into splenic lesion. Duration: 20 minutes.
Risks
Bleeding (spleen is highly vascular), pain.
Recovery
A few hours observation.
Practical information
Local anesthesia. Outpatient procedure (return home the same day).
