What does this intervention involve?
Background
Painful or functionally limiting intramuscular hemangioma.
Procedure
Selective arterial embolization with microspheres/coils. Duration: 1-2h.
Risks
Pain, muscle necrosis, nerve injury.
Recovery
MRI control at 3 months.
Practical information
Local anesthesia. Outpatient procedure (return home the same day).
