What does this intervention involve?
Background
Large symptomatic simple hepatic cyst recurring after aspiration.
Procedure
US-guided aspiration then ethanol injection left in contact 15-20 minutes. Duration: 30-45 minutes.
Risks
Pain, fever, peritoneal ethanol leak (rare).
Recovery
US control at 3-6 months.
Practical information
General anesthesia. Outpatient procedure (return home the same day).
