En quoi consiste cette intervention ?
Contexte et indications
Administration de médicaments (catécholamines, nutrition parentérale, chimiothérapie), monitorage hémodynamique, accès veineux en urgence.
Déroulement
Sous anesthésie locale et guidage échographique, une veine centrale (jugulaire interne, sous-clavière ou fémorale) est ponctionnée et le cathéter est avancé. Durée : 15 à 30 minutes.
Risques
Pneumothorax (voie sous-clavière), ponction artérielle, infection, thrombose.
Suites
Radiographie de vérification. Soins réguliers du cathéter.
Modalités pratiques
L'intervention est réalisée sous anesthésie locale, en ambulatoire (retour à domicile le jour même).
