Procedure
US-guided central vein puncture and catheter advancement. Duration: 15-30 minutes.
Risks
Pneumothorax (subclavian), arterial puncture, infection, thrombosis.
Recovery
Verification X-ray. Regular catheter care.
Practical information
Local anesthesia. Outpatient procedure (return home the same day).
